Content disclaimer

AI Tools Directory aggregates information from public APIs and adds an editorial layer on top of it. We make no warranty that the information is accurate, current, or complete. Use at your own risk. Always verify critical details at the linked authoritative source.

Specifically:

• Editorial text: Text on this site is produced in one of three ways: (a) written or line-edited by hand by the operator and signed with a date; (b) drafted with Claude through Claude Code sessions or scheduled routines the operator runs against the upstream metadata, then spot-checked — not individually reviewed unless (a) applies; (c) assembled by deterministic templates from metadata. We stopped calling Anthropic's API from the pipeline in May 2026; entries drafted through the API before then are not distinguishable from (b) and are labelled Claude-drafted. How that maps onto this site's pages is described on the About page. We correct verified factual errors within 14 days (see below) but make no warranty. Licensing, pricing, version numbers, and recent model status can change between rebuilds; each page links the upstream source as the authoritative citation for those fields.
• Third-party data (HuggingFace public API) was fetched by a scheduled job until new-model ingestion was switched off for this site; the pipeline is not currently re-fetching it. Stars, downloads, prices, and release dates reflect the time of the last fetch, not real time, and may lag the upstream source by weeks or more.
• Source verification is your responsibility before depending on any listed model in production, in a purchase decision, or in a license-sensitive context. Every page links the upstream source for this purpose.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Scrape the site in a way that burdens our infrastructure — use the upstream APIs directly when you need bulk data
• Misrepresent the origin of our content
• Use the site or its content for illegal purposes

Intellectual property

• Editorial content on this site (summaries, page structure, decision framing, FAQ phrasing — whether hand-written, Claude-drafted, or template-assembled) is licensed CC BY 4.0. Attribution: "AI Tools Directory, aiappdex.com".
• Third-party data (repository metadata, store listings, screenshots, store badges) remains the property of its respective owners and is used here under fair use / fair dealing for indexing and discovery purposes.
• Trademarks (project names, company names) are the property of their respective owners and are used nominatively.

Corrections and removal

If you are the owner of an indexed model or you spot a factual error, email [email protected] with the page URL and a brief description. We will correct factual errors within 14 days and process verified removal requests within 14 days.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yusuke Morinaga is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this site, including but not limited to decisions made based on listed information.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
